This is a project we are working on to complete. Our master carpenter installed this antique bent rail and had to fabricate bent wood to complete sections of new choir loft extensions. The quality of the craftsmanship is remarkable. (BELOW) Finished out our stunningly designed and master fabricated wainscotting is a site to behold. It pulls the entire project together. We started a massive project where we are going to build 4 altars, ambo baptismal and altar railing. Completely stunning. Please review the photos above. We would be glad to help you with your project and get you altars in any custom format you may need. Check out this work. Its stunning. 913 871 6444

An Ode to Mother
A mother is: -Strength when we feel weak. -Faith when we feel we have none. -Courage when we are scared. -Belief in all storms. -Hope when you feel lost. -Love when you hate the world. -A beacon in darkness. -The reminder when you don't remember. -The wisdom when you are less than intelligent. -A haven when we lose. -A life saver when you are in a sea of doubt. -Your life insurance -Your body guard. When at last you breath your last, you know your soul is cradled and carried to heaven in the arms of your Mother. Happy Mother's Day. Kansas City- This altar set was in bad shape when we discovered in a soon to be demolished hospital. We received a call from the diocese in hopes that we would know of someone who would like to dismantle it and return it to use. Through serious negotiation we were able to get it dismantled and moved to another chapel. The original chapel dated to 1870s and was serviced by a very old freight elevator. In its glory days the chapel was quite beautiful but through the course of time and disuse the chapel crumbled. At last use the chapel was used as a day care and the children had had their use with the altar pieces. The removal process was very sketchy. The freight elevator was located in a tight corner at the back of the chapel. We had to maneuver large sections of marble around the tight corners and hope the freight elevator would hold. It too was as old as the chapel. We took the risk of getting stuck in the shaft and possibly losing sections of the altar if the elevator decided not to work again. The original mensa was sledgehammered and destroyed. Only the rerados remained and the two side altars were thankfully left intact.
Throughout the following weeks we were able to remove the entire altar and side altars and other various components of the chapel including a beautiful carved choir loft. The altar is used today and adorns another sacred space. Sadly, the original owners wanted the altar to go down with the building. However, the new owners wanted it saved. So that is what we did. A beautiful statue carved in marble by one of our factories. It features Our lady of Consolation showing roses to the sick and comforting when they are ill. Look closely at the face of the sick and the loving face of Our Lady. This statue speaks stories and is symbolic of Our Lady's compassion on her sons people. STANDING 85" tall x 38" wide x 27" and at a cost of $8200. She is a steal. A perfect statue for healing and a constant reminder of Our Lady's compassion. CALL 913 871 6444 Many years ago this church closed and its contents remained for years. Remarkably the artifacts are in very good condition having being abandoned for such a long time. Featuring the finest in todor gothic architecture and many hand carved elements. These pieces sit quietly hoping for a new home. Time is running out and city officials want this building down with or without the salvation of the altar. A easy conversion to Catholic use and carrying symbols of the Catholic faith. The workers who created this piece nearly 100 years ago I am sure all hope that this altar does not meet the fate of so many others. You can only imagine how each piece was lovely carved in adoration of Our Lord and how only the best of craftsmanship was used. The set features a beautiful altar railing, baptismal, high altar and wainscoting. An easy conversion we are hoping for someone to pluck this out of the hands of demolition before its too late. Call 913.871.6444 to reserve it. Otherwise, this will like so many others only be a memory and a photo somewhere. Several years ago I came across a altar for sale in Virginia that had been converted into a wet bar. IT was a beautifully crafted 1870s carved oak altar dedicated to St Joseph from the sisters of St Joseph and their convent in Buffalo New York. The altar was only about 6ft wide but was beautifully carved. It took some time and in agreement with the current owners we found a new Catholic Church for it to be in South Dakota. They refinished it and use it as their high altar. Its an incredible story of coming full circle. But after leaving in the 1970s as a church altar, going into a home and used as a bar and finally returning as an altar for many more years. It was a good salvage story.
This is a throwback from 10 years ago. We were working a priest in Indianapolis remodeling his 1900's romanesque church. Communion railings in general are very difficult to find and adding romanesque to the mix makes it 10 times harder. It just so happens that a chinese theatre in hollywood was doing some remodeling. In its previous life it had adopted "throw-outs" from churches in the San Francisco area. Sadly this theatre had a communion railing in it and it was stunning. We happened to find it just in the niche of time to return it back to a church where it was just dying to go. We reconfigured it, restored it so it could be painted and it not sits in the most beautiful church in Indiana Holy Rosary. That church also brought about some other unique finds from around the country. The side altar tabernacles and gradines came from side altars out of a church that had been long time abandoned in New Hampshire. The altar was found in a church in Chicago and the Archdiocese was so kind in letting us move it to Holy Rosary so it could once again grace a beautiful space. We are honored to have been part of the restoration and even more gratefu
