The Catholic archdiocese of Detroit was forced to have these gothic marble altars and their reredos (decorative rear walls) removed from the closed inner city church of the Holy Martyrs of Uganda due to impending vandalism. We deconstructed them and have shipped them to Calgary in Alberta, Canada, where they await to be installed in a church being constructed. We also removed 70 sets of solid oak pews and had them relocated to various churches across the country.
