Located in Kansas City, Kansas, Vincent de Paul Design has been providing hand-rendered, presentation quality landscape designs to residential and commercial clientele since 1998. Owned and operated by Larissa Nordhus, the focus of Vincent de Paul Design is the production of captivating outdoor environments, which can be enjoyed for generations.

Nordhus received a Horticulture degree with emphasis in Landscape Design from Kansas State University in 2000, building upon a business degree from Benedictine College, and a degree in Fine Arts. Through a wealth of knowledge and ideas gained through formal education in France and living and traveling throughout the US and overseas, Nordhus shares her experiences with her clients by incorporating the best ideas from the most notable landscapes throughout the world into the personal spaces of individuals here in the US.

Nordhus states, “Being immersed in nature…taking time out daily to reflect upon the fingerprints of God in His creations can help to facilitate a much more peaceful disposition, a healthy perspective on life, and deeper understanding of self.  These days the majority of children and adults alike fail to take enough time to step away from the commotion in our lives…to take a deep breath and simply enjoy the beauty of nature. My objective is that through assisting individuals and communities to achieve a beautiful and functional outdoor environment, they will be enticed to spend more time reflecting upon the amazing beauty of God’s creation.”
